Detailed Specification Brochures

Although intended for use as a controller in a Horticultural growing environment, the PowerTraker may also be used in supporting R&D engineering lab projects, monitoring power in a production environment or as an intergrated device with control systems for industrial equipment.

The PowerTraker is a rugged 19" rack mount or bench top power data logger that can continously record current, voltage and phase for eight separate outlets. Data is recorded at intervals as fast as every 5 seconds and stored in the on-board database. Data can be viewed with any browser using your internet connected device. The plotting package will display your data vs time in your browser or it can be downloaded as a CSV (comma-separated values) file for display on a spreadsheet.

The eight outlets on the rear panel can be optionally ordered as 15A NEMA or IEC receptacles. Each plug is equipted with two LED indicators that show the presence of AC power on the outlet and the status of the relay controlling it.

Communication with the PowerTraker is via standard RJ-45 Ethernet cable. It can be connected directly to your computer, or connected to your intra-net router. If the unit is purchased with the optional subscription, it can be viewed and controlled from anywhere on the internet. Once connected to the internet, your PowerTraker will automatically connect to our cloud server and be added to your other subscribed devices.

Each of the eight circuits is fully programmable through a series of Events and Actions in concert with the real-time clock, the sensors and the status of the other circuits. A typical application might be to monitor the humidity level in a green house and to turn on a humidifier if the air is too dry and then to turn on a dehumidifier if the air is too moist.

The many sensors available for the PowerTraker connect to the appropriate cannector on the back panel. Amoung the parameters for which we have sensors are humidity, temperature, soil-moisture, light level, CO2 level and liquid flow rates. There is a dry contact relay to be used as needed. There is also an 8Mp camera mounted on the front of the unit which is used to display a snap shot of the immediate surroundings. The image is updated by clicking on the current picture on the HOME page.

The PowerTraker PowerTraker is a member of a family of products that offer a wide range of features to allow you to monitor several power parameters, and to provide a means to control and record power to many loads.

Where available, the V-Lock style inlets and outlets are offered as a standard feature to provide a means to secure power cords from accidental disconnecting. V-Lock style inlets and outlets will also accept standard cord plugs.
